Lovely place to stay really helpful staff nice food clean rooms. Lovely scenery around you. The staff were really helpful the room was cold on first night we stayed so I mentioned it and they put a blanket on bed and an extra heater in the room.

Brilliant pub. Stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby at castle Bolton. Everything you could want in a pub/B&B. Great food, great ales and good sleep. The staff are wonderful and lovely people. Stunning views and location. Highly recommend. Even with cold and wet weather was absolutely lovely.

Delicious vegan food and a very warm welcome. Excellent customer service, fabulous staff! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options on the menu as the website only listed one or two. Highly recommend!

If there is a better lovely country pub with rooms, and fine restaurent, in the Dales, it is difficult to believe? |A warm welcome, cosy lounge with log burner, wonderful food, and fine beers, all so reasonably priced. |Just like staying with family! |Weather was challenging in January, but really didn't matter!
